Micro Alternative Provision
Our provision combines practical sewing activities with functional skills in maths and English, helping students learn in a calm, supportive and purposeful environment. It is designed for young people experiencing anxiety, those at risk of exclusion, or students with ADHD who may find traditional classroom learning challenging. Through creative, hands-on projects, students can build confidence, improve focus and develop essential literacy and numeracy skills in a way that feels relevant and achievable. The programme supports students to re-engage with learning, strengthen their independence and work towards positive educational outcomes.
Suitable for Learners with Additional Needs
Our approach is suitable for learners with anxiety, autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance). We provide a calm, flexible and supportive learning environment that recognises each learner’s individual strengths, needs and pace. Sessions can be adapted to reduce pressure, build confidence and support positive engagement with learning. We work sensitively with learners who may find school attendance, social situations, focus or change challenging, helping them to feel safe, understood and able to make progress.

We offer structured morning sessions: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.
